No fluff. Clear answers to the questions we get most — from Hendersonville, Gallatin, and across Sumner County.

Getting Started

How do I get started at KalQlate Science?

Book a complimentary assessment at our Hendersonville studio.

The assessment includes a FIT3D 3D body composition scan, a posture and movement evaluation, and a one-on-one conversation about your goals. You leave with hard data on where your body is today and a clear plan for what training would look like. Most people use it to decide if we're the right fit before committing.

Do I need to be in shape before I start?

No. Every program is built around your current capacity, not someone else's idea of where you should be.

ARX adaptive resistance automatically matches the load to whatever strength you bring on a given day, so beginners and experienced lifters work at the same intensity relative to themselves. Most new clients have not trained seriously in years. The starting point is wherever you are.

What happens during my first visit?

You get a full FIT3D body scan, a movement and posture screen, and a guided walkthrough of the technology you'll be using.

The scan captures your circumferences, body fat percentage, posture asymmetries, and balance — all in 40 seconds. You'll see exactly where you stand, hear how the training works, and get a clear answer on what membership at KalQlate Science would look like for your goals.

How much does membership cost at KalQlate Science?

Membership is priced based on your goals, frequency, and program scope. We share specific pricing during your complimentary assessment.

KalQlate Science is a premium, results-driven facility — not a commercial gym. Programs are built around technology and coaching that don't exist at a traditional gym. Pricing reflects that. Book the assessment at kalqlatescience.com/assessment to see if it's the right fit.

Do you offer a trial or assessment?

Yes. Every prospective member starts with a complimentary assessment that includes a FIT3D body composition scan and a one-on-one consultation.

There's no obligation to join afterward. The assessment exists so you can make a real decision based on real data — your data — instead of a sales pitch.

How It Works

How long does a typical session take?

Most sessions run 20 to 45 minutes, depending on the program.

ARX strength sessions are typically 20 minutes. CAROL REHIT cardio is under 10 minutes. Combined strength and recovery sessions run 45 minutes. The point isn't to spend more time training — it's to make every minute measurable and productive.

How many sessions per week do I need?

Two sessions per week is the sweet spot for most members.

Two well-designed sessions of adaptive resistance training produce better strength and body composition results than five hours at a traditional gym, and the science behind it is settled. Most members come 2-3 times per week and reserve the rest of their schedule for life.

What makes KalQlate Science different from a regular gym?

Every workout is measured. Every progression is data-driven. Nothing is guessed.

Traditional gyms hand you equipment and hope you figure it out. We use ARX adaptive resistance, the CAROL REHIT bike, Vitruvian, FIT3D scanning, and recovery technology — and every session generates data we use to adjust your program. You don't train harder. You train smarter, and the results show up faster.

What is data-driven personal training?

It's training where every variable — load, output, recovery, body composition — is measured and used to make the next session better.

Instead of generic programs and subjective effort, every member gets a feedback loop: scan, train, measure, adjust. That's how we eliminate guesswork and why our members see changes in 8-12 weeks that take a year in a traditional gym.

Will I be working with a coach or training alone?

Every session is one-on-one with a coach.

KalQlate Science is not a class-based gym or an unmanned tech facility. A coach runs you through every session, monitors form, interprets the data, and adjusts the program in real time. The technology amplifies the coach. It doesn't replace one.

Technology

What is ARX adaptive resistance training?

ARX is a motorized resistance machine that automatically matches the load to your real-time output.

Traditional weights only challenge you on the way up. ARX challenges you on the way up and the way down, and it gets harder if you get stronger mid-rep. The result: a complete strength workout in roughly 20 minutes, with output measured to the watt. It's the centerpiece of training at KalQlate Science.

What is the CAROL bike and how does REHIT cardio work?

CAROL is an AI-controlled exercise bike that delivers a complete cardio workout in under 10 minutes.

REHIT — Reduced-Exertion High-Intensity Training — uses two 20-second sprints at maximum effort. Peer-reviewed research shows REHIT improves VO2 max more efficiently than traditional cardio. For busy professionals, it's the most time-efficient cardiovascular training that exists.

What is FIT3D body composition scanning?

FIT3D is a 40-second scan that captures your full body composition, posture, and balance in 3D.

You get circumferences at every body region, body fat percentage, posture asymmetries, and a 360-degree avatar of your body. Members rescan every 4-8 weeks to see exactly how their body is changing — not by the scale, but by what actually matters.

What recovery technology do you offer?

KalQlate Science offers NormaTec compression, PEMF therapy, and red light therapy on-site.

NormaTec accelerates muscle recovery through pulsed compression. PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) therapy supports cellular recovery and reduces inflammation. Red light therapy supports skin, recovery, and mitochondrial health. Recovery is part of the program, not an afterthought.

Is the technology safe and proven?

Yes. Every piece of technology at KalQlate Science is backed by peer-reviewed research and used in clinical, athletic, and medical settings.

ARX is used by NFL teams, Navy SEALs, and university research labs. The CAROL REHIT protocol is published in journals including Scientific Reports. FIT3D is used by hospitals and military programs. Nothing in the studio is unproven.

Results, Logistics & Location

How quickly will I see results?

Most members see measurable changes in body composition within 8-12 weeks.

Strength gains show up faster — typically within 3-4 sessions on ARX. Body composition follows, with 4-week FIT3D scans showing fat loss, muscle gain, and posture improvements. The data shows up before the mirror does, which is the point.

Do you offer nutrition coaching?

Yes. Nutrition coaching is integrated into membership for members whose goals require it.

Coaching is built around your FIT3D body composition data and your real life — not a generic meal plan. We focus on the few specific changes that produce the biggest body composition results, then measure them.

Where are you located and what areas do you serve?

Who is KalQlate Science a good fit for?

KalQlate Science is built for busy professionals, executives, and serious people who want measurable results without spending hours in a gym.
